The 15th Asian Pilates Congress successfully concluded
On November 3rd, the 15th Asian Pilates Congress, hosted by Li Xin Pilates—a long-term industry partner of IWF International Fitness Expo—successfully concluded in Sanya, China. This year's congress not only set new records in both attendance and scale but also brought together world-renowned instructors, top-tier domestic fitness industry mentors, and nearly a thousand participants from around the globe, once again showcasing the passion of the global Pilates community for this discipline.
At the invitation of the organizers, the IWF organizing committee attended the congress and engaged in various industry exchanges, further strengthening its long-term strategic partnership with Li Xin Pilates. A series of cooperative framework agreements were reached, paving the way for joint efforts to set new benchmarks in the industry and embark on a more comprehensive and in-depth phase of collaboration.
Currently, Pilates is gaining prominence in the field of sports rehabilitation due to its unique exercise philosophy and fitness benefits. At the same time, the number of Pilates equipment and supporting exhibitor brands at the IWF Shanghai International Fitness Expo has been consistently increasing year after year—IWF 2025 saw a growth of 6.88% compared to the same period, while IWF 2026 experienced an 11.76% increase.
Following the establishment of the China Pilates Industry Alliance at IWF in March 2025, another grand event for the Pilates community is set to kick off at the beginning of 2026. Committed to continuously integrating industry resources and promoting the professionalization and internationalization of Pilates, the IWF International Fitness Expo Organizing Committee will provide a collaborative platform for practitioners to exchange ideas and grow together.
From March 13th to 15th, 2026, IWF will dedicate efforts to present the 13th Shanghai International Fitness Expo at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. By fostering cooperative connections, facilitating business exchanges, and building industry consensus, the expo will comprehensively showcase the diversity of the sports and wellness industry chain. With a focus on foreign trade exports and cross-border opportunities in the sports and fitness sector, IWF will continue to drive the high-quality development of China's fitness equipment manufacturing industry and support the global expansion of "Made in China" brands and products.
